How to unblock a stubburn ear???

My right ear has been blocked for quite a while now! I can't find anything to unblock it!! I have seen my specialist, there is no wax, so no ear wax removal. I have tried all kinds of oils, baby oil, olive oil, castor oil etc... Yesterday, I tried peroxide and that didn't work either! Please help before I go crazy, I need to get it unblocked for the ringing to stop!!

If wax isn't your problem, and your doctor has determined there is nothing foreign obstructing the canal.....then you need to start investigating possibilities of problems with the inner structures of your ear.





Go see an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor.


Remember, don't put anything else in your ear, or you are at high risk for further injury.

Reply:While u may feel it's blocked u probably have something else going on. When u went to the Ears, Nose, Throat Drs what did they do? Why go to 3 different?





U need to stick to one Dr... cause if u get too many antibotics nothing will work. U may need something stronger, what r they finding in your ear? Sinus infection, fluid in the eardrum area? U mention ringing of ears it could be Tinnius or Vertigo, even dental problems can cause the ringing... the experts have to rule out. If the blood flow to your ear area is restricted, having damage to the inner ear, rarely a tumor, or more common is the sign of permanent hearing loss. If u have put all this oil and things in your ear... it's not helping the Dr diagnosis because your masking things.





There are a number of reputable special clinics that may be able to help u. But u have to stop the self treatment, you could be making things worse. Be patient with the Specialist and follow his recommendations to the letter. Then follow up with him/her. Stay the course and rule out all the possiblities.
Reply:Take a few sheets of newspaper and roll it up then light the other end. Your ear will be unblocked when the flame gets close to your ear. You will hear a "ssssss" sound when it becomes unblocked. When it is unblocked, take out the newspaper and put out the flames.
Reply:If they said there isn't any earwax, than what's blocking it? Apparently they didn't see anything or they would have told you. You may have tinnitus. Check with your doctor again. Tell him/her about your symptoms and ask if this is possible. They may have a treatment for you. It doesn't sound like your ear is blocked. Stop putting crap in your ears before you do damage. Oil is not going to help.
Reply:I would go to the doctor. It could be a middle ear infection, which is why you cant unblock it using something. If you have a sinus infection, it could feel clogged and you will need a decongestant and maybe an antibiotic. If it is an outer ear infection, you probably need to see a doctor as well. Call your general practitioner.
