Unblock firewall?

Unblock firewall?
You dont want to turn off firewall. If you need to get a program thru like a webcam.Go into Start,control panel,security center,windows firewall,(leave on) click exceptions tab.See if the name of what your haveing trouble with is on list and checked.If not click on Add program and see if the name is on that list.If it is check it and click OK.On the first page make sure the name is there and checked.Click OK .Your all set,dont have to change it back leave it.Good luck.
Reply:you dont want to do that it protects your computer from lots of things like hackers and so on. if you unblock it your taking a big risk of your computer being attacked by something.
Reply:I turned off my firewall by pulling up the start menu, clicking on the control panel, then on security. There there was a firewall option to click on and turn it off and on that way.
